كان الخوف يسيّر كل قراراته ويسرق نومه. حين أسلم حياته للمسيح دخل سلام لم يصنعه، وصار الخوف يصغر كلما كبرت ثقته بالله.
Stories of Faith
Here you will find the stories of brothers and sisters from Yemen, inside the country and beyond, who met Jesus Christ and whose lives were changed. They are true stories, written by the people themselves in their own words: about grief and fear, addiction, illness and war, and about the God who drew near to them in the middle of it all.
We share these stories not to glorify the people who tell them, but to bear witness to God's work. Perhaps you will find something of your own story in one of them. And if you have a question after reading, we would be glad to hear from you, or you can send a prayer request.

How we protect the people behind the stories
We never publish a story without the consent of the person it belongs to, and they can ask for it to be changed or removed at any time.
We change names, and use initials or a code name instead of the real name.
We remove anything that could identify the person: their town, tribe, workplace, dates and family names.
We only correct language mistakes and remove anything that could put the person or anyone else at risk of harm, and we quote Bible verses from the ESV. We keep the storyteller's words and voice, and add nothing to them.

أن تسامح وتُطلق من حملك
كان ممتلئاً بالغضب ويؤذي من يحبونه، مقتنعاً بأنه لا يستطيع التغيير. المسيح أعطاه قلباً جديداً يقدر على المسامحة، فاعتذر من أبيه بعد سنوات من القطيعة.
المسيح وحده علّمني ألا أخاف
في المستشفى، والأطباء أعطوه وقتاً محدوداً، قرأ في إنجيل يوحنا: «أنا هو القيامة والحياة». المرض ما زال يزوره أحياناً، لكن الخوف ذهب.
أنا ما يقوله الله عني
كبر وهو لا يعرف من يكون، يسعى لإرضاء الجميع ويفقد نفسه. حين قرأ أن الله عرفه قبل أن يُصوَّر في البطن، وجد في المسيح هوية مبنية على محبة لا تتغير.
كان يجلس معي في الغرفة المظلمة
في ليلة قصف قريبة من البيت خرجت من القلب صلاة بسيطة: «يا ربّ، إن كنت موجوداً فأنا أريد أن أعرفك». وهدأ الخوف، ثم بدأت الرحلة مع المسيح.
عادت الحياة إلى بيتنا
كان زواجه على وشك الانهيار بعد سنوات من الجروح. حين قرأ عن المسيح الذي يسامح، طلب من الله قدرة على المسامحة لا يملكها، فتغيّر شيء في داخله وعاد الدفء إلى البيت.
حرية لا يعرفها إلا من عاش في القيود
عاش سنوات في سجن الإدمان ولم تنفعه إرادته ولا وعوده، حتى التقى بشخص حدّثه عن المسيح الذي يحرّر. اليوم يقول: أنا حر.
كأن هذه الكلمات كُتبت لي أنا
فقد والده في الحرب وعاش مع سؤال «لماذا؟» حتى سمع ذات ليلة دعوة المسيح للمتعبين. منذ تلك الليلة والله يعيد بناء ما هدمه الألم في قلبه.
