I Sleep at Night Because God Keeps Watch

Before

Fear drove every decision I made. I couldn't sleep at night because my thoughts went round and round. I pretended I was fine while I was falling apart inside. I didn't believe anyone could understand what was going on within me.

After

When I gave my life to Christ, a peace came in that I had not made myself. I could sleep at night, because God keeps watch. The fear did not vanish all at once, but it grew smaller as my trust in God grew bigger.

“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
