A Prayer Before Sleep

Dear Father, I now commit myself into your faithful hands. Just as Jesus committed his spirit to you on the cross with complete trust, tonight I hand over my worries, my dreams and my fears. I trust that you are with me in sleep just as you are with me when I am awake. Do not let my heart be troubled by what I have not found an answer to, but make my night true rest in your embrace. And when morning comes, wake me to your new mercy. You are faithful, and in your hands I sleep. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
