Morning Prayer

My good Father, I praise you for a new day that has dawned with your mercy. Your mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning, and great is your faithfulness. Every morning is fresh proof that you have not abandoned me. Thank you for the breath I breathe, for everyone you have placed on my path, and for my hope in Christ that fills my heart. Lead me today so that I do not turn aside from your way. Make me a blessing to everyone I meet, with a kind word, a smile or a helping hand. And in every hard moment, remind me that your mercy is renewed. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
