A Midday Prayer

Lord, in the middle of this day I stop for a moment before you. You are the one who hears my voice evening and morning and at noon. The burdens are many and busyness fills the time, but I choose to stop and remind myself that you are still on the throne. Renew my strength now, and give strength from you to everyone who is weary in their work. Be a refuge for those going through hard times; satisfy the hungry and help the weary. Make the rest of my day fruitful for your glory, not wasted time. In the noise of life, I dedicate my day to you again. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
