A Prayer for Your Children

Heavenly Father, today I place my children in your hands; they are entrusted to me by you. Keep them on their way from all evil and harm. Make your Word a firm foundation in their hearts from an early age, and give me wisdom, love and patience to raise them in your way. Lord, guide their future towards your good will. When I am absent, be present with them. When I cannot protect them, be their shield. And let my children know you personally, not through their parents' faith but through their own. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
