A Prayer for Peace in Yemen

Lord of peace, I pray for wounded Yemen. How much blood has been shed, how many homes destroyed, how many lives lost! God of history, you who make wars cease to the end of the earth and break the bow, step in now. Make those who seek peace stronger than those who seek war. Stop the violence, open the way to dialogue and reconciliation, and send peace from you. And give weary hearts your peace, which the world cannot give. Yemen deserves life, and deserves a tomorrow without bullets. Amen.
