A Prayer for the Church in Yemen

Lord of the Church, I pray for the believers in Yemen who follow you in secret and in the midst of hardship. Keep them from all harm, and if they suffer for your name, be close to them and comfort them. Make their faith as steadfast as the mountains of Yemen, and give them wisdom in every step. Make them one family, holding one another up in prayer and love. Grow your Church among this generous people — in hearts before buildings. Make every Yemeni believer a light to those around them, through their life and their love. And may Yemen one day become a land where your name is lifted high and prayers are offered to you, O living God. Amen.
