A Prayer for the Children of Yemen

Jesus, you who said, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them”, I pray earnestly for the children of Yemen: the children born into war who have known nothing else, the hungry, the displaced, and those kept out of school. Lord, just as you took the children in your arms and blessed them, hold every little Yemeni child. Protect girls and boys from exploitation and from all harm, and heal the wounds of their young hearts. Let this generation survive, grow and build, because today's children are tomorrow's Yemen. Amen.
