The Cross That Saved Me

The apostle Paul says: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). The cross was not the end. It was the beginning.

Notice Paul's words: “loved me” and “for me”. Jesus died for the whole world, but he also died for you personally. When you understand this, everything changes: his death was for you, and his life is now at work in you through faith.
