A Prayer for a Family That Needs Christ

Lord of love, you who desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, today I hold before you members of my family who do not yet know you. My Lord, only you can touch their hearts from within. Send them your Word, send them someone who carries your love, work in them in the way you see best, and save them. Make me a tool in your hand, not an obstacle through my behaviour. Give me wisdom to know when to speak and when to be silent, and let my life bear witness to you with love and kindness. I wait eagerly for the day when I see my loved ones know you, and then I will lift my voice in thanksgiving. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
